Ferdinando Carulli (1770-1841) was an Italian composer and guitarist. He wrote many duos with guitar, including guitar and flute, guitar and violin, viola, and harp. He also wrote various pedagogical treatises, which influenced guitar performance practice and teaching. This fantasy on themes from Bellini's opera 'Il Pirata', is written for guitar and flute.
