Free Download: Serge Lancen's Mascarade for brass quintet and band

Serge Lancen (1922-2005) was a French composer and pianist. His early compositions were mainly for piano and solo instruments, but he soon turned to composing for band and chamber ensembles.

Mascarade was written in 1986 and was premiered at the World Association for Symphonic Bands and Ensembles conference in Boston in 1987.

This recording is performed by the Ensemble de Cuivres Epsilon & Orchestre D'Harmonie de la Garde Republicaine; Roger Boutry, conductor.
