Albert Roussel (1869-1937) finished composing his third symphony in 1930 and it was premiered by the Boston Symphony Orchestra on Oct. 24, 1930. This recording is performed by the Orchestre de Bordeaux-Aquitaine; Roberto Benzi, conductor.
