    Free Download: Enescu's String Quartet No. 2 in G (Op. 22, No. 2)

    George_Enesco George Enescu's second String Quartet was composed in 1951, 31 years after his first. Enescu (or Enesco) stays within the boundaries of tonality but his adoption of Romanian folk elements results in a highly individual sound world.

    This recording is performed by the Enesco Quartet.
